Mission Statement

At LakeHouseRanchDotPng our mission is to create and showcase absurdist, experimental and politically engaging new work in South Florida. We are passionate about theatre and believe that it has the power to transform lives. Our goal is to bring exciting new work that engages in conversation with our audiences and to make it accessible to everyone.

What is Experimentalism?

Experimental Theatre is the alteration of traditional theatre conventions as a means of further exploration of theatre and its relation to not only the piece but its surroundings.

What is Absurdism?

Theatre of the Absurd can be seen as the reflection of what seems to be the attitude most genuinely representative of our own time. - Martin Esslin

What is Political Theater?

Political theatre is a form of performance that intentionally engages with or comments on social, political, or cultural issues.  It's not just any play that happens to touch on a political topic; it's a deliberate use of theatre as a tool for addressing societal concerns
